The Nan Gallagher Law Group would like to congratulate Dr. Aaron Stein, MD, FACC, on his appointment as Chief Medical Officer for Hackensack Meridian Health Palisades Medical Center.
According to the official release distributed by Hackensack Meridian Health Palisades Medical Center, “Dr. Stein will be responsible for planning, organizing and directing the daily clinical activities of the medical staff and advanced practice providers. As an attending physician at Palisades for over 30 years, Dr. Stein has been involved in many leadership roles, including chairman of the Department of Medicine, director of the CCU, chairman of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, president of the Medical Staff, member of the Medical Executive Committee, key faculty member for the Internal Medicine residency program and chairman of the Credentials Committee to name a few. Dr. Stein has also been the interim chief medical officer on two occasions, most recently serving with distinction over the past year. Dr. Stein will report directly to the Dr. Passannante, president of Palisades, and will have a dotted line reporting relationship to Dr. Barsky, chief quality officer for the network. Dr. Stein graduated magna cum laude from SUNY-Downstate Medical School. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency training at Bronx Municipal Hospital Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and his Cardiology Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.”
