On October 25, 2018, Nan Gallagher defended an accomplished out-of-network Bergen County obstetrician before the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners resulting in a full administrative dismissal of all claims in his favor. Going on his eighth year of representation with Ms. Gallagher, the practitioner felt very comfortable coming to her to support his billing practices before the agency. Ms. Gallagher was able to demonstrate that his consents, disclosures, medical records, and circumstances surrounding the care rendered to the pregnant patient were sound, reasonable and within applicable standards. The State Board dismissed the entire inquiry, finding all evidence submitted compelling and no basis to initiate disciplinary action.
