Nan Gallagher Presents the Timely Webinar “Employment Issues Triggered by COVID-19” for the New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons

On Wednesday, February 17th, in her capacity as General Counsel for the New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (NJAOPS), Nan Gallagher was honored to present the timely webinar “Employment Issues Triggered by COVID-19”.  Attendees learned how to recall state and federal mandates concerning office closures, furloughs, and time off associated with COVID19.  Ms. Gallagher also addressed key concerns during the COVID-19 crisis, including ensuring compliance with the ADA, avoiding discrimination, and taking appropriate steps if widespread disruption requires furloughs, lay-offs, and absenteeism.  The webinar was well-received by the membership.
