Beginning Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 9:00 AM, New Jersey-based small businesses and nonprofit organizations with 100 or fewer employees can apply to receive an additional 25% off purchases of personal protective equipment (PPE) from approved vendors. More information is available at https://covid19.nj.gov/ppeaccess.
The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) developed the NJ Small and Micro Business PPE Access Program in response to consistent concerns emerging from the Governor’s Restart and Recovery Commission, the nine sector-based committees of the Governor’s Restart and Recovery Advisory Council, and input from numerous small businesses indicating the need for readily available, fairly priced PPE.
Businesses can visit the program’s landing page at https://covid19.nj.gov/ppeaccess and use an online planning tool on the page to help identify the right types of PPE based on business or organizational needs. Businesses can then connect to one of three NJEDA-approved vendors to purchase the PPE at a discounted rate. The three approved vendors – Boxed, Office Depot, and Staples – have partnered with the Authority to create “microsites” that are accessible from the PPE Access landing page where New Jersey-based businesses can purchase a curated selection of PPE products.
A 10% discount is available now for all New Jersey businesses. Businesses with fewer than 100 employees can also apply for an additional 25% discount starting November 10, 2020. Here is a link to the website.
