On Friday, February 8th, Principal Nan Gallagher presented a webinar to the New York Medical Group Management Association (NYMGMA) on “Hiring & Firing: A Risky Business”. Ms. Gallagher provided a comprehensive overview of risks and pitfalls to medical practices when adding or terminating personnel. From the overarching principles to consider when hiring staff to the legal and appropriate ways to fire staff, attendees were given insight on the nuances on how to manage these decisions properly.

After earning her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School, she served as the Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Mahlon L. Fast, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County, Civil Division.
