Latest News – Nan Gallagher Successfully Defends Dermatologist Alleged to Have Committed Gross Misconduct and Malpractice Before the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners

We are happy to report that Nan Gallagher has defended another physician successfully before the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners.  The dermatologist was alleged to have rendered substandard care amounting to gross misconduct with respect to a female patient who had a cutaneous malignancy of her shin/ankle region that necessitated a Mohs surgery and full-thickness skin graft.  Allegations were raised by a patient involving improper diagnosis, wound management and billing practices.  Ms. Gallagher capably demonstrated point-by-point that the patient’s complaints were completely without merit.  The State Board dismissed the entire inquiry, finding all evidence submitted compelling and no basis to initiate disciplinary action.
