Latest News – Nan Gallagher Negotiates A Respectful Retirement of Mentally Impaired Practitioner with New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners

Finding out that one of our physician clients is suffering from early stage dementia or Alzheimer’s is always difficult and one that Nan Gallagher takes very personally.  Understanding that the practitioner can no longer care for patients while, at the same time, wishes to preserve his or her reputation is a sensitive and delicate process.  After orchestrating substantive testing for our client, arranging appropriate custodial arrangements for the doctor, and reporting the findings to the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners, Ms. Gallagher successfully negotiated the physician’s permanent retirement from the practice of medicine.  We wish our client prayers and peace during this very difficult time.
